My Walking Sessions Take a Beating During Rains
Hi,
It has really been a very long time since my last post. My last post on how My Routine Got Shattered was written about three months back. Of course, mom has also started using my blog for the posts she creates. When I was very young she used to make me sit on her lap while she worked on the system.
Good old days mom
But these days, when I ask her to upload my post, she simply says, "Go and play Chezhi. I will call you in a while". Sometimes I obey but at times I protest by lying so close to her chair that she finds it difficult to move.
I know patience is a virtue...but don't make me wait long
Mom always knows when I lie so close to the chair. All she normally does is to turn gently in her chair and take a pic. Then I also experienced some skin condition and mom got busier. Long story short, my posts got delayed.
Adding to my list of woes is the disruption to my walking sessions during rainy days. Sometimes, we would wake up to heavy rains and that would be a great disappointment as it will be a 'No walking day'.
Guys, check online stores for giant-sized umbrella to cover the sky
During those days we will wait for the rain to stop and then step out of the house.
Sometimes we would get caught in the rain.
At least get me two pairs of shoes...and a raincoat
Wet roads fail to impress me. I hesitate to step out of the house when I see the streets are wet. After some encouragement from the family, I get going. But once I am out, I am never in a hurry to return even if it rains heavily. I get a thorough towel-dry on return.
However, sometimes I sense something odd and refuse to go long distances. Those days we return very shortly and soon there would be heavy thunders.
Honestly, winter season not only disrupts my walking sessions but it also makes me a little uncomfortable. My family tries their best to keep me comfy and I play my share as well.
Right from why a good number of dogs are scared of rains to how to take your pet out for a walk during rainy season and health conditions that may affect dogs during rainy season, lessons learnt are many...and they are reserved for a separate post in Mom's diary.
